ORDINANCE 133.
DOGS:
SECTION 11.Any person or persons who shall attempt to prevent
or hinder any person or persons engaged in seizing and imponnding
Or killing,any dog,or removing the carcass,shall be deemed
gmilty of a misdemeanor,and upon conviction thereof shall be
liable to a fine or imprisonment as hereinafter·provided.
SECTION 12.Whenever the Mayor of said town shall deem it
advisable for the prevention of hydrophobia,he may issue his
proclamation requiring all dogs within the town to be confined
or to be muzzled,as he may deem best,for such time as he may in
his proclamation designate,and during the time so designated it
shall be unlawful for any dog to go at large,or unmuzzled,as
the case may be,contr~to the term of such proclamation;any
person violating the provisions herein shall be deemed gUilty of
a misdemeanor,and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as
herein~fter prOVided.
SECTION 13.Any person or persons who shall violate any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall,u~on conviction thereof,be
liable to a fine not exceeding FiftY(i50.00)Dollars or imprison-
ment in the ~own jail not exceeding one day for each ~hree ($3.00)
Dollars of such fine and costs.
