ORDINANCE No.143.
TRAFFIC ORDINANCE
Unhitched Teams:
AN ORDINANCE to prevent the leaving of horses or teams unhitched upon
the streets of the Town of Marysville,Washington,and prescribing the
punishment for violation hereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOVrN OF ~lliRYSVILLE,as follows;
SECTION 1.No person owning or having control of any horses or
team shall leave the same standing upon any street,alley or other
public place within the limits of the ~own of Marysville,Washing-
ton,without having said horse or team securely fastened or guarded.
SECTION 2.It shall be unlawful for any person to tie or fasten
any horse or team to any shade trees or fences in the streets or
alleys of the Town of Marysville.
SECTION 3.Any person violation the provisions of this ordinance
shall be deemed gUilty of a misdemeanor,and upon conviction shall
be subject to a fine not exceeding the sum of ~en ($10.00)Dollars
or in case of default in payment of the fine and costs assessed shall
be imprisoned for a period of time at the rate of Three ($3.00)
,Dollars per day for the amount of such fine and costs.
