given .in'the Washington State Liquor Act,Chapter 62,'Laws,of
Washington,Extraordinary Session of 1933,Section 3 thereof.
Section 3.Nothing in this cr-d Inance shall apply to wine or
beer manufactured in any home tor consumption.therein,but not
for sale;nor to.any liquor in the'possession of,any per~,,
kept;1'o~.persop.al use but not for sale,,.at ttie effecti,va'da.te
01'.the ;WashingtonState Liquor Act;nor shall this ordinan,oe .be
',construed as limiting th'e rignt of any minist.er,.priest,or
rabbi,or religious organization from obtaining wine for.
Slicramental purposes directly from any source Whatsoever,
whether 1'romwithin the limitS of the state,of Washington or
froIqoutside or the state;nor to any Hquoror-preparations
exempted under the Washington State Liquor Act.
Seotion 4..No liquor shall be kept or had within the'Twwn
of Marysvi Ll.e,unless the package in which the liquor was
contained had,while containing that liquor,been sealed .with
the official seal prescribed under the Wllshington State Liquor
Act,except in the case of:.'..:..,
(a)Liquor .imported by the .state Liquor Con)rol Board;or

Section 9 •No licensee shall conduct an ,establishment where,

Section 15.No person sh,all'purchase orattempt'to purchase
liquor under a permit which is suspended,or which'has -been
cancelled,,or of wh ieh he is not the holder.'

or take orders for .the purchase or sale of any liquor;or act as

Section 20;No beer or wine shall be sold,offered for sale,
or consumed upon any licensed premisses upon the day of any
general,.speCial or primary election'during the hours the polls
abe opened...or upon any other day between the hours of.tWelve
o'clock midnight and six o'clock A.M.;nor shall any licensed
premises remain open for business during the said l;lours.
Section 21.uxcepf as'otherwise provided inthe.lla.shington t>tate
Llquo.r Act,every person who shall sell anyliquor,other tYan
beer,by the bottle or package or otherwise,or :who .sha Ll,own
or operate anyl still shall be gUilty of a violation 'of this
ordinance.
8ectioll/:·22.In every case in which liquor is .seized by a
police orficer of the Town of Marysville,it shall be the
duV of the Town Marshall to forthwith report in writing to
the Board the particulars of such seizure,and to immediately
deliver over such liquor to the Board at such 'place as may be
des Lgna ted by it..,'
Section.23.Every person gUilty ofa violation of any of the
provisions of this ordinance,for which no penalty is specif'i-
cally prescribed,shall be liable,on conviction,for a first
offence to a penalty of not more than One Hundred Dollars
($lOOjOO)0»imprisonment in the town jail for not more than
thir~y (30)Ilia~rs,with or without he.rd labor,or .bo th ,.
Section 24.All other ordinances or parts of ordinances.in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
