An ordinance relating to the use of city water for sprinkling
purposes and prescribing punishment for the violation thereof.
THE TOlffi OF MARYSVILLE does ordain:
That sprinkling will be allowed in the district comprising
the Town of Marysville,west ot Columbia Street,on the odd days
of the month,and withinithe Town of Marysville,east of Columbia
Street,on the even days of each month during J'une,July,August
and September.That no sprinkling shall be done except during
the hours of six and nine o'clock a.m.and five and seven
o",clock p.m,of such days,excepting,however,that sprinkling
wi th hose held in the hands will be permitted at any time
upon the regular sprinkling days with a nozzle not to exoeed
one quarter inoh in diameter.Provided further that all
sprinkling shall be shut off when a fire alarm is sounded
and may be not again turned on until water is not further
required for fire purposes.Any person violating the
p.rov i ea ons of this ordinanoe shall be punished by a fine
of not less than One Dollar ($1.00)nor more than Fifty
Dollars ($50.00)or by imprisonment in the oity jail not
less than one day nor more than thirty days.
