THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE.WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN A$;FO~\'lS: SECTION 1.Pursuant to the authority conferred by Chapter 13 of tb,e,laws of 1931 of.the State of Washington (Chapter 41.12.Revisedi::od~ofWashington)there is.hereby created a City CivU Service Co~~~sion to execute the powers and .perform the duties established by SU9h State law in oonnection with the selection.appointment and emplo~qnt of police,includiJ;lg the Chief of Police of the City of Ma~y§vllJ,e.',".,',..,""..,,_."., Section 2.Such commission shall be composed of three members 'cto be appointed by the Mayor,who shall flerve without compensati;on.
