An ordinance annexing certain property to the CITY OF MARYSVILLE
as provided by Chapter 35013 of the Revised Code of Washington.
The City Council of the CITY OF MARYSVILLE do ordain as follows:
SECTION L That on the 12th day of April,1965;there was rece.ived
by 'the City Council of the CITY OF MARYSVILLE,and filed,with the
City Clerk of said city,a peti tion praying~hat the boundaries of
the said city be altered by including therein certain real proper-
ty lying contiguous to the CITY OF MARYSVILLE,the legal descrip-
tionof which is set forth below,said petition having been signed
by the owners of property of not less than 75 per cent of the
assessed valuation of all of the real property within the following
described area.
SECTION 2.That the City Council of the CITY OF ~~RYSVILLE enter-
tained said petition and gave notice of hearing as required by law?
by posti~g and publication,and that said hearing was held on the
26th day of April,1965,at 8:00 P.M.in the Council Chambers of
'the CITY OF rJIARYSVILLE and that no pe rsons appeared to voic.e disap-
proval of the proposed annexation.
SECTION 30 That the area proposed for annexation is less than 10
acres in extent and less than $200,000.00 in assessed valuation.
SECTION 4.That by unanimous vote of the Mayor of the City of
Marysville,the Snohomish County Superintendent of Schools and the
Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners for Snohomish County,
the necessity for ,~vening a regular review board to consider this
annexation was dispensed with.
SECTION 5.That the territory proposed by said petition to be an-
nexed to the CITY OF MARYSVILLE is situated in the County of

Snohomish'in the State of Washington and is corrt Lguous ,proximate
and adjacent to the present corporate limits of said city and is
particularly bounded and described as follows,'to-wit:.'
A portion of Government Lot 2,Secti on 33,Township 30
North,Range 5 East W.Mo,described as follows:
Beginning on the North line of said Government Lot 2,
510.0 feet West of the N. E.corner thereof,said point being
on the corporate limits of the City of MarysVille;thence
South 17°30 100"West 257.0 feet;thence South 35°30 100"West
196.1 feet to Ebey Slough;thence Northwesterly along the North
bank of Ebey Slough;to North line .of said Government Lot 2 and
the.corporate limits of the City of Marysville;thence East to
point of beginning,Snohomish County,Washington;the area above
described being 3.45 acres more or less.
SECTION 6.That the above-described real property b.e and the
same is hereby annexed to and incorporated into the
CITY OF MARYSVILLE.
SECTION 7.That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and'after its passage,approval and five days following its
..publication;as required by law,
