An ordinance ordering a local improvement,creating a local
improvement district and approving and confirming the assessment roll.
Whereas,a petition praying that the City of Marysville,a munic-
ipal corporation of the third class,Snohomish County,Washington,
form a local improvement district to improve 50th Drive Northeast,
Snohomish County,Washington,by construction of a six (6)inch water
main and appurtenances was filed with the City Clerk on the 9th day
of May,1966,
and
Whereas,as required by law the City Engineer has filed his
certificate,setting forth the data required by RCW 35.43.130,
NOW THE BEFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:That the local improvement described in said petition
be proceeded with without unnecessary delay.
SECTION 2:That there is hereby created Local Improvement District
#51 to embrace the property specially benefited from the proposed
improvement.
SECTION 3:That each of the lots,as shown by the assessment
roll,is hereby declared to be especially benefited by said improve-
ment in at least the amount charged against the same,and that there
is hereby levied an assessment against said lots in the amount final-
ly charged against the same.
SECTION 4:That the sum charged agai nst each lot,or any portion
of such sum, may be paid during the thirty-day period following the
date of first publication by the Treasurer that such assessment has
been placed in her hands for collection without penalty,interest or
costs.
SECTION 5:That the cost and expense of improvement prOVided for
herein shall be paid for by the issuance of warrants payable out of
the local improvement district fund.The warrants shall bear in-
terest at a rate of per annum,and shall be redeemed 9Y
local improvement bonds for the same improvement.
SECTION 6:That this ordinance shall be in force from and after
its passage and five days following its publication as required by
law.
Passed this 27th day of June,196~by the Council of the City of
Marysville.
