An or~inance providing for salaries and wages for employees
·of the City of Marysville)Washington;and repealing all
~rdinances,or parts of ordinances,in conflict herewith •.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSvtLLE,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS,
Section.1..SHORT TITLE •.'That this ordinance·shall be known
as uThe Salary Ordinance •."
Section 2'.BASIC PAY PLAN.'
B.That the hourly rates set forth are for emploYment based
on a forty (40)hour week;'and.shall be used for the payment;of .
salaries for the hours actually worked.Applicable rates shall be
used when hourly employees are being paid·other than at the beginning
pay step.
The salary rates provided'by this ordinance are fixed on
the basis.of full-time service in full-time positions.If any
position is seasonal,temporary,or requires less tpan full-time
service,the hourly rate provided for such positions shall beset
by the City Council from those rates listed under hourly rates.
C..That general adjustments in salary ranges made hereafte~
by the City Council by virtue of general increases or decreases in
salary levels or'cost of living.in the community,shall bernade by

include a statement as to the emplo~ee's manner of performance for
