An Ordinance of the City of Marysville amending
the budget for 1975 by establishing the position
of Animal Control Warden and setting the salary
for such position.
WHEREAS,the City of Marysville and the City of Arlington
have entered into an interlocal agreement providing for the joint
operation of an animal control facility and joint use of an Animal
Control Warden;and '
WHEREAS,said inter 10 cal agreement provides that the
salary of the Animal Control Warden shall be set by mutual agreement
of the cities and is subject to adjustment from the 1st day of
January of each year;and said agreement further provides that said
salary,together with all additional employee benefits,will be paid
in full by CETA funds,or by such other state or federal grants or
programs as may be applicable;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to create a position for Animal
Control Warden within the budget of the City of Marysville although
all City expenditures will be reimbursed by CETA funds;NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~ffiRYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.There is hereby established the position of
Animal Control Warden,said position being within the City of Marys-
ville Police Department.
Se~tion 2. The budget for the police department of the
City of Marysville shall be amended to show the position of Animal
Control Warden,and shall show a salary of $725.00 per month.
Section'3.The salary of the Animal Control Warden shall
be funded by appropriation from the General Fund,subject to immediate
reimbursement on a monthly basis by CETA or by such other state or
federal grants or programs as may be applicable.
Section 4.This ordinance is adopted pursuant to RCW
35.33.107.
Section 5.This ordinance shall become effective from and
after passage and 5 days following its publication as required by law.
