I I THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAI~AS 'FOLIJOWS:·"_ Section 1.Section 14.04.050 of ,the Marysville M~nicipal Code lS hereby amended 'to provide as follows: Delinquent B'iLl s v v Li.en s ;'Combined billing stat~ments for the garbage,water and sewer utilities shall be sent t6 all customei~~'using the addresses continued in the records of the City Utiiity Department. Section 3,Involuntary Discontinuance of Water Service. F a r~:;f.r:fl 11 d u ;1<7 n t,bb'tia i n i ng 0 r use of u t .iI i t Y service..,r;•••:~"~, " B.Except ~in"the,~a5e·bfd~ri~er to life or property, fraudulent,us e,'imp'air'rrienf'of s e'r v i'ce ,or violation of law, the City shall use its b~st efforts to comply'with the', followingprocedures.prioT to an involuntary discontinuance of service: ,1.-The City shall send the owner and occupant ,'of the pr emis e s,using addresses shown in the City "u t i Li t y records,wr it t en notice that water service to the property will be shut off on a date n~t less ten day~thereafter unless the delinquencies are paid iri fult.Said notic~shall state that the own6r and occupant of the prem i ses 'have a right to a hearing before the C~ty Administrator for ,the purpose of resolving disputed accounts.A request faT such a hearing must be made not 1655 than 5 days piior to the shut~off date.At said hearing the City Or di n an'c e 2 ,.:. ...'. Section 4 ..Disconnecti~n ~nd Re~onnection Charges., A.There sh~ll be a shut-off ~hargeof $~,OO a~sessed for each,vo lurrt ar y or Involuntary discontinuance.of service.
