AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF }'lARYSVILLE AN::--II~XII\G
CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA INTO THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE.
hlIEREAS,on October 27 , 19 81 there was r ece i ved by
'the City Council of the-T.:Tty of Marysvil1e~nd filed with the Clerk
of s ai d City,a Petition for Annexation,said Petition having been
signed by tIle owners of not less than 75%of the assessed value of
the property proposed for annexation,said property being legally
described in Exhibit A attached hereto;and
\1jJ-IEREAS,on December 8,1980 a duly-advertised public
hearing was held on the rroposed annexation before the City Council
of the City of Marysville,and said Council unanimously passed
Resolution No.983 stating the City's intention to annex .the above-
described property upon receipt of a favorable report from the
Snohomish County Boundary Review Board;and
WHEREAS,on April 14 ,1981 the proposed annexation came
be Fore the Snohomish County Boundary i~eview Board,and said Board
declared that additional review would not be necessary for the
protection of the public interest,and that the juris~iction of said
Board would not be invoked over the proposed annexation;Now,
Therefore

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That the above-described property,being
si.t u t a t ed in tl1Clllincorporated area of the County of Snohomish,State
of Washington,and being contiguous,proximate and adjacent to the
present ~orpoTate limits of the City of Marysville,be and the same
is hereby annexed to and incorporated into the City of Marysville .
.Section 2.That the above-described property shall hereafter
be assessea and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other
property within the City of Marysville,including assessments or
taxes and payment of all of the outstanding indebtedness of the City
contracted or incurred prior to,or existil1g on the effective date
of this ordinance.
Section 3.'[hat the Comprehensive Plan foY the City of
Ma r y sv i 11eheretorore prepared for the above-described property be and
the same is hereby adopted as the official Comprehensive Plan for
said propert)'.
Section 4.This ordinance shall be and become effcctive
