WHEREAS,on February 22,1982,the City Council of the City of ~larysville adopted Ordinance No.1223 annexing prop- erty on both sides of Highway 99 between 88th Street N.E.and a point 300 feet north of 100th Street N.E.,known as the "K-Mart Annexation"and being legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference;and WHEREAS,at the City's initiative,Single-Family, General-Commercial,Neighborhood-Business and Community-Business zoning classifications were proposed for the above-described property,and the City Planning Commission held a pUblic hear- ing thereon on October 25,1983;and WijEREAS,the City Planning Commission adopted formal Findings of Fact and a recommendation in favor of establishing zoning classifications for the subject property which are depicted in Exhibit B attached hereto;·and WHEREAS,the City Council has reviewed said Findings of Fact and recommendation and finds that the proposed zoning classi- fications are in the pUblic interest and are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan;NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.The Findings of Fact of the Planning Com- mission with respect to the proposed zoning classifications of the subject property,as depicted in Exhibit B attached hereto, are hereby adopted,and said zoning classifications are hereby established for the subject property. Section 2.The official Zoning Map of the City of Marysville,Washington,as adopted in 1972,and Section 5.02 of Ordinance No.772,are hereby amended to reflect the above- described zoning classifications for the subject property.
