AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ADDING A
NEW SECTION TO CHAPTER 5.48 OF THE MARYSVILLE
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO AN OPTION TO EXTEND
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL MASTER PER}1ITS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
A new section is hereby enacted in Chapter 5.48 of the
Marysville Municipal Code providing as follows:
5.48.050 Option to Renew Festival Permit.At the time
of awarding a Festival Permit,the City Council,in its discre-
tion,may grant the Festival sponsor an option to renew the per-
mit,without pUblic competition,for up to two additional years.
To exercise said option the Festival sponsor,each year,shall
submit a new Festival proposal for approval by the City Council
and shall pay a new Festival Pe~mit fee.

ferred to,published in the English language continually as a
weekly newspaper in Marysville,Snohomish County,Wash-
ington,and it is now and during all of said time was printed
in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of publication
of said newspaper.That the annexed is a true copy of a
Ordinance 1346 it_____________________________________________as 1 was
published in regular issues (and not in supplement form)of
