HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1414 - Adds Sec. 2.50.100, residency requirement (Repealed by 1950),."~ •.x~:;2.e l~"'l..U ... ~!rWC J f1..~.~ I CBh.e o~{~, I~- CIT Y 0 F MAR Y S V ILL E Marysville,Washington ORDINANCE NO.I i1IJ/4j AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ADDING A NEW SECTION TO CHAPTER 2.50 OF THE MARYSVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTAIN NEW EMPLOYEES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~~RYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: A new section is hereby enacted in Chapter 2.50 of the Marysville Municipal Code providing as follows: 2.50.100 Residency ~equirements for Employees.There shall be no residency requirement for any City employees except those specifically referred to below,and said requirements shall apply only to employees hired after r,iarch 18,1985: (a)City Administrator.The City Administrator shall maintain his principal place of residence within the boundaries of the Marysville School District. (b)Police and Fire Officers.The Police Chief and Police Lieutenant,and the Fire Chief,Fire Marshal and Fire Captain,shall each maintain their principal place of residence within a 15-minute vehicular response time from their respective department headquarters.
