Section 2.A new Chapter 2.12 of the Marysville Municipal Code entitled "Emergency Services --Disaster Plan"is hereby enacted,and shall include the following sections: 2.12.010 Statutes Incorporated by Reference.The following statutes relating to emergency services are hereby incorpor- ated by reference: RCW 38.52.070 RCW 38.52.080 RCW 38.52.090 RCW 38.52.100 RCW 38.52.110 RCW 38.52.120 RCW 38.52.130 RCW 38.52.140 RCW 38.52.150 Ordinance - 1 (Establishment of Local Emergency Service Organizations) (Outside Aid --Rights and Liabilities) (Mutual Aid Arrangements) (Appropriations --Acceptance of Funds, Services,etc.) (Use of Existing Services and Facilities --Impressment of Citizenry) (Political Activity Prohibited) (Loyalty Oath Required) (Status of Civil Service Employee Pre- served) (Orders,Rules,Regulations --Penalty) RCW 38.52.180 RCW 38.52.190 RCW 38.52.195 RCW 38.52.200 RCW 38.52.390 RCW 38.52.400 (Immunity from Liability) (Compensation for Injury or Death) (Exemption from Liability While Providing Construction,Equipment or Work) (Liability for Compensation is in Lieu of Other Liability) (Contracts or Work on Cost,Basis for Emergency Services Activities) (Search and Rescue Activities) 2.12'.020 Participation in Snohomish County Department of Emer- gency'Services.Pursuant to RC~'J 38.52.070,the City of Marys- ville hereby joins as an active member and participant in the interlocal Emergency Services Organization established and oper- ated by the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Services. A membership assessment shall be included within each annual budget adopted by the City,and paid to said Department. 2.12.030 Adoption of Local Disaster Plan.By resolution,the City Council shall adopt a disaster plan for the Clty of Marys- ville.Said plan shall be filed with the Snohomish County Depart- ment of Emergency Services and with the State Director of Emer- gency Services.Copies of the same shall be available to the public at City Hall during all business hours.The plan shall be subject to amendment at any time by resolution of the City Council.
