J CIT Y 0 F MAR Y S V ILL E Marysville,Washington ORDINANCE NO./577 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED IN ORDINANCE NO. 772. WHEREAS,Mr.and Mrs.Willis Swimme (hereinafter referred to as "Owners")own certain property located at 1930 Third Street, Marysville,Washington,the legal description of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference;and WHEREAS,said Owners filed a petition with the City Clerk seeking a rezone of said property from the Single Family 7200 classification to the Low Density Multiple Residential clas- sification;and WHEREAS,the City Planning Commission held public hearings on said rezone on July 14,1987 and September 22,1987,but was unable to make a recommendation with respect to the same;and WHEREAS,the City Council held a public hearing on said rezone on October 26,1987 and found that the same was in the public interest and was consistent with the comprehensive plan; NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.For the reasons stated in the Findings of Fact separately adopted by the City Council,the above-described property is hereby rezoned from the single Family Residential classification to the Low Density Multiple Family Residential classification,with the following conditions: a.The existing house on the property shall be demolished. b.The property shall be developed in accordance with the site plan for a duplex which is on file with the City Compliance Officer. Section 2.The official zoning map of the City of Marys- ville,Washington as adopted in 1972,and Section 5.02 of Ordinance No.772,are hereby amended to reflect the reclas- sification of the above-described property.
