AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ANNEXING CERTAIN
UNINCORPORATED AREA KNOWN AS THE RIPPER PROPERTY INTO
THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE.
WHEREAS,on April 25,1988 the City of Marysville received a
petition for annexation of 2.89 acres of property located on the
south side of 64th Street N.E.,west of 67th Avenue N.E.,said
property being legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised pUblic hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville City Council on May 23,1988,and
said Council unanimously passed Resolution No.1316 stating the
city's intention to annex the property upon receipt of a
favorable report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board;
and
WHEREAS,on May 2,1989 the City received notice from the
Snohomish County Boundary Review Board that no objections to the
annexation had been filed and that the Board was waiving
jurisdiction over the matter and returning it to the City for
final approval;NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.That certain property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto,being situated in the unincorporated area of
Snohomish County,State of Washington,and being contiguous,
proximate,and adjacent to the present corporate limits of the
City of Marysville,is hereby annexed to and incorporated into
the City of Marysville.
section 2.That certain property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto shall hereafter be assessed and taxed at the same
rate and on the same basis as other property within the City of
Marysville,including assessments or taxes for the payment of
its pro rata share of all of the outstanding indebtedness of the
City contracted or incurred prior to,or existing on,the
effective date of this Ordinance.
section 3.A Comprehensive Plan designating the above-
described property in the Low Density MUltiple Residential
classification is hereby adopted as the official Comprehensive
Plan for said property.

section 4.The Owner of the above-described property is
hereby required to dedicate to the City,for no charge,suffi-
cient property along the abutting frontage of 64th street N.E.to
increase the public right-of-way of said street to City specific-
ations.
section 5.The Owner of the above-described property shall
be required to pay its proportionate share of improving 64th
street N.E.to its full design width for the abutting frontage of
the sUbject property.Said payment will be due at the time of
issuance of development permits for the subject property.
section 6.This Ordinance shall be and become effective on
May 15,1989.

Township 30 North,Range 5 East,W.M.,situate County of
Snohomish,State of Washington,described as follows:
Commencing at the southeast corner of said Section 27,
Township 30 North,Range 5 East,W.M.;
thence northerly along the east line of said section to the
south line of the north 440 feet of the S.E.t,S.E.t of said
Section 27;
thence westerly along said south line to the southeast
corner of the west 300 feet of the east 1050 feet of the
north 440 feet of the S.E.t,S.E.f of said Section 27 and
being THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence continuing westerly along said south line to the west
