ORDINANCE NO./7 ~
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ANNEXING THAT
CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA KNOWN AS THE PEARSON
PROPERTY INTO THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE.
WHEREAS,on March 19,1989 the City of Marysville received a
Petition for annexation of certain property located 8400 83rd
Avenue N.E.,said property being legally described in Exhibit A
attached hereto;and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised pUblic hearing was held on said
Petition before the Marysville city council on June 26,1989 and
said Council unanimously passed Resolution No.1366 stating the
city's intention to annex the property upon receipt of a
favorable report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board;
and
WHEREAS,on October 31,1989 the City received notice from
the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board that no objections to
the annexation had been filed and that the Board was waiving
jurisdiction over the matter and returning it to the city for
final approval;NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That certain property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto,being situated in the unincorporated area of
Snohomish County,State of Washington,and being contiguous,
proximate and adjacent to the present corporate limits of the
City of Marysville,is hereby annexed to and incorporated into
the city of Marysville.
section 2.That certain property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto shall hereafter be assessed and taxed at the same
rate and on the same basis as other property within the city of
Marysville,including assessments or taxes for the payment of its
pro-rata share of all of the outstanding indebtedness of the City
contracted or incurred prior to,or existing on,the effective
date of this ordinance.
section 3.A Comprehensive Plan designating the above-
described property in the Single-Family Residential 12,500
classification is hereby adopted as the official Comprehensive
Plan for said property.
Section 4.This ordinance shall be and become effective on
November 13,1989.

as follows:Beginning at the northeast corner of said
subdivision;thence N 88'40'10"W,along the north line of said
SUbdivision,a distance of 20.01 feet to the west margin of
83rd Avenue N.E.,as conveyed to Snohomish County by deed
recorded in Volume 147 of Deeds,on page 30,and the True Point
of Beginning;thence continuing N 88'40'10"W,along said north
line,a distance of 626.75 feet to the northwest corner of said
subdivision;thence S 0'10'18"E,along the west line of said
SUbdivision,a distance of 100.03 feet to an intersection with
the south line of the north 100 feet of said subdivision;
thence S 88'40'10"E,along said south line,a distance of
626.69 feet to said west margin of 83rd Avenue N.E.;thence
H 0'08'25"W,along said west margin,a distance of 100.03 feet
to the True Point of Beginning.
