ORDINANCE NO.{16 I
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE REZONING THE
RICHARD MARTIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED IN ORDINANCE NO.772.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS,Richard Martin (hereinafter referred to as "Owner")
owns 4.8 acres of property located at 8400 83rd Avenue N.E.,said
property being legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto,
and
WHEREAS,said property was annexed into the city of
Marysville by Ordinance No.1733 adopted by the City Council on
November 6,1989,and
WHEREAS,the Owner filed a petition with the City seeking to
establish the zoning classification for said property of single-
Family Residential 12,500 under File No.PA 8904020;and
WHEREAS,the City Planning Commission held a pUblic hearing
on said zoning application on November 28,1989 and adopted
formal findings of fact and a recommendation that said zoning
application be granted;and
WHEREAS,the City Council held public meetings on said
zoning application on January 2,1990 and January 22,1990 and
concurred with the findings of fact and recommendation of the
Planning Commission;NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.The findings of fact of the Planning Commission
with respect to the above-referenced zoning application are
hereby approved (with technical amendments)and the above-
described property is hereby zoned in the Single-Family Resi-
dential 12,500 classification.
section 2.This zoning classification is SUbject to the
terms and conditions of a Concomitant Subdivision Approval of the
Preliminary Plat of Bayview Summit.
section 3.The official Zoning Map of the City of
Marysville as adopted in 1972 in Section 5.02 of ordinance
No.772 is hereby amended to reflect the reclassification of the
above-described property.
