THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: section 19.08.215 of the Marysville Municipal Code is hereby amended to provide as follows: 19.08.215.Home Occupation."Home occupation"means any use customarily conducted within a dwelling complying with the following restrictions: (1)Not more than one person outside of the family shall be employed on the premises. (2)The occupation shall be secondary to the use of the dwelling for dwelling purposes. (3)There shall be no external display of merchandise and no external storage of equipment, vehicles,materials or supplies. (4)There shall be no retail sales on the premises except for merchandise which is produced on said premises.No sales or services will be conducted on the premises which will generate more than 10 average daily round trips per day by customers. (5)The maximum aggregate nameplate horsepower rating of all mechanical equipment for business purposes shall be 5 h.p. (6)Not more than one-fourth (1/4)of the total square footage of the dwelling may be used in the occupation. (7)Signs in connection with the home occupation shall comply with the restrictions of section 16.16.210(1)(H)of the City's sign code. (8)The home occupation shall in no way affect ORDINANCE - 1 the appearance of the building as a residence. (9) relating dwelling streets.
