AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ANNEXING THAT
CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA KNOWN AS THE FIRSTMARK
PROPERTY INTO THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE.
WHEREAS,on March 13,1990 the city of Marysville received a
petition for the annexation of 39.58 acres of property located on
the west side of 67th Avenue N.E.between the Plat of Cedarcrest
Manor and the mobile home park known as Cedarcrest Villa,said
property being legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS,a dUly-advertised pUblic hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville city Council on April 23,1990 and
said Council unanimously passed Resolution No.1423 stating the
City's intention to annex the property upon receipt of a favor-
able report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board;and
WHEREAS,on October 12,1990 the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board entered an order approving the annexation;NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.That certain property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto,being situated in the unincorporated area of
Snohomish County,State of washington,and being contiguous,
proximate and adjacent to the present corporate limits of the
City of Marysville,is hereby annexed to and incorporated into
the City of Marysville.
section 2.That certain property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto shall hereafter be assessed and taxed at the
same rate and on the same basis as other property within the city
of Marysville,including assessments or taxes for the payment of
its pro rata share of all of the outstanding indebtedness of the
city contracted or incurred prior to or existing on the effec-
tive date of this ordinance.
section 3.A comprehensive plan designating the above-
described property in the following designations is hereby
adopted as the official comprehensive plan for said property:
Single-Family Residential 12500 for that portion of the
property located north of Munson Creek.

Single-Family Residential 9600 for that portion of the
property located south of Munson Creek.
section 4.As a condition of this annexation the City
hereby requires the property owners,their heirs,successors and
assigns,to participate in an LID for the improvement of 67th
Avenue N.E.along the abutting frontage of the property.The
present property owners shall sign a covenant not to protest the
formation of such LID.
section 5.This ordinance shall be and become effective on
November 1,1990.
PASSED by the City council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
