AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ANNEXING CERTAIN
UNINCORPORATED AREA KNOWN AS THE QUILCEDA AUTO PROPERTY
INTO THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE.
WHEREAS,the City of Marysville has received a petition for
annexation of certain property located to the northwest of the
City of Marysville,said property being contiguous to the city
limits and legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto,said
petition having been signed by the owners of not less than sixty
percent (60%)of the assessed value of said property;and
WHEREAS,a dUly-advertised pUblic hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville city Council on July 22,1991,and
said Council adopted Resolution No.1490 stating the city's
intention to annex the property upon receipt of a favorable
report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board;and
WHEREAS,on May 12,1992,after notice duly given,the
proposed annexation came before the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board for a pUblic hearing;and
WHEREAS,at the conclusion of the public hearing on May 12,
1992,the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board voted 4-1 to
approve the proposal,adding the entire right-of-way of 104th
Street N.E.adjoining the subject area;and
WHEREAS,on June 9,1992,the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board adopted written Findings of Fact,Conclusions and a
Decision approving the sUbject annexation,as modified to include
the entire right-of-way of 104th Street N.E.adjoining the
submitted proposal;NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.The above-described property,being situated in
the unincorporated area of Snohomish County,State of Washington,
and being contiguous,proximate,and adjacent to the present
corporate limits of the City of Marysville,be and the same is
hereby annexed to and incorporated into the city of Marysville.
section 2.The above-described property shall hereafter be
assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as
other property within the City of Marysville,including
assessments or taxes in payment of all of the outstanding
indebtedness of the City contracted or incurred prior to,or
existing on,the effective date of this ordinance.

section 3.The Comprehensive Plan for the city of
Marysville is hereby adopted as the official Comprehensive Plan
for said property.
section 4.This ordinance shall be and become effective on
June 29,1992.

That portion of Section 16,Township 30 North,Range 5 East,Willamette Meridian,more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 16;
Thence northerly along the west margin of Smokey Point Boulevard,also the present
boundary of the City of Marysville,a distance of 340 feet,more or less,to a point
approximately 60 feet West of and 320 feet North of said southwest corner,being an
angle point of the present boundary of the City of Marysville;
Thence northeasterly along the present northerly boundary of the City of Marysville
and the cl of Quilceda Creek a distanee of 450 feet,more or less,to a point on the
centerline of Quilced~l Creek,being the northwest corner of the present boundary of
the City of Marysville.
Thence continue northeasterly along the centerline of Quilceda Creek a distance of 320
feet,more or less,to a point on the west line of the East 120 feet of the west half of
the Southwest Quarter of said Northeast Quarter;
Thence North along said west line a distance of 445 feet,more or less,to a point on
the north line of said Southwest Quarter lying 545 feet East of the northwest corner of
said Southwest Quarter;
Thence West along said north line a distance of 640 feet,more or less,to a point on
the east margin of Smokey Point Boulevard;
Thence northerly along the east margin of Smokey Point Boulevard a distance of 666.46
feet;
Thence West to a point on the west margin of the Burlington Northern Raidroad right-
of-way lying 666.46 feet North of the south line of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of siad Section 16;
Thence northerly along the west margin of the Burlington Northern Railroad right-of-
