AN ORDINANCE OF
ANNEXING CERTAIN
EASTWOOD HILLS II
THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON
UNINCORPORATED AREA KNOWN AS THE
PROPERTY INTO THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE.
WHEREAS,the city of Marysville received a petition for
annexation on the property described in Exhibit A attached
hereto,said petition having been signed by the owners of not
less than sixty percent (60%)of the assessed value of said
property;and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville City Council on October 26,1992,
and said Council passed Resolution No.1592,stating the City's
intention to annex the property upon receipt of a favorable
report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board;and
WHEREAS,on January 12,1993,the proposed annexation came
before the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board,and said Board
declared that additional review would not be necessary for the
protection of the pUblic interest,and that the jurisdiction of
said Board would be waived;
NOW,THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON,DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1.The above-described property,being situated in
the unincorporated area of Snohomish County,State of Washington,
and being contiguous,proximate and adjacent to the present
corporate limits of the present City of Marysville,be and the
same is hereby annexed to and incorporated into the City of
Marysville.
section 2.The above-described property shall hereafter be
assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as
other property within the City of Marysville,including
assessments or taxes in payment of all of the outstanding
indebtedness of the City contracted or incurred prior to and
existing on the effective date of this ordinance.
section 3.The Comprehensive Plan for the city of
Marysville designating the above-described property in the
Suburban 1-4 du./ac.classification is hereby adopted until
formal adoption of the city's updated Comprehensive Plan for the

sUbject area as the official Comprehensive Plan for said
property.
section 4.This ordinance shall become effective on March
1,1993 •

LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR EASTWOOD HILLS II ANNEXATION
That portion of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 35,
Township 30 North,Range 5 East,W.M.,more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest
Quarter of said Section 35,thence S 89°56'32"E for
20.00 feet to the East margin of 67th Avenue N.E.,the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence continue S 89°56'32"E for A38.53 feet to the
Northeast corner of said Northwest quarter;
Thence S 0°46'23"W along the East line of said
Northwest quarter for 456.60 feet;
Thence N 89°58'03"W for 637.75 feet to the East margin
of 67th Avenue N.E.;
Thence N 0°40'30"E,along said East margin,for 456.87
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
TGW adjacent right-of-way of 67th Avenue;
SUBJECT to easements,restrictions and reservations of
record;
situate in snohomish county,Washington.
