ORDINANCE NO.:J 10 I
An Ordinance of the City of Marysville levying taxes upon all property real,
personal, and utility, subject to taxation within the corporate limits of the
City of Marysville,Washington for the year 1997.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. For the year 1997, the amount of taxes to be levied for current
expenditures for operation of the City of Marysville is $4,050,000.00 based on an assessed
valuation of $1 ,200,000,000.00 which assessment is an estimate and in any event, the
total dollar amount will not exceed $3.375 per $1,000.00, of assessed valuation.
Section 2. For the year 1997, the amount of taxes to be levied for Emergency
Medical Services for the City of Marysville is $600,000.00 based on an assessed valuation
of $1,200,000,000.00,which assessment is an estimate, and in any event, the total dollar
amount will not exceed $.50 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation.
Section 3. For the year 1997, the amount of taxes to be levied for payment of
debt service on the City's unlimited tax General Obligation Bonds, 1986, is $235,700.00.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to certify the amount necessary to be
raised by taxation as above specified to the Snohomish County Assessor.
