AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE AMENDING SECTIONS
14.07.060(f)AND 14.07.070(dl OF THE MARYSVILLE MUNICIPAL
CODE AS AMENDED IN ORDINANCE NO.2117.
WHEREAS,on December 16,1996 the Marysville City Council
adopted Ordinance No.2109 increasing water and sewer rates and
amending provisions of MMC Chapter 14.07;and
WHEREAS,on February 24,1997 the Marysville City Council
adopted Ordinance No.2117 amending MMC 14.07.060(f)and MMC
14.07.070 (d)relating to utility billings for mobile home
parks;and
WHEREAS,at its April 28,1997 meeting,the Marysville
City Council re~examined the issues relating to construction
and occupancy of mobile homes and reconsidered the appropriate
period of time within which mobile home parks constructed
within the last three years should have to fill all pads for
occupancy;and
WHEREAS,the owner and representative of a mobile home
park who was not available for the City Council's prior action
amending said code sections appeared and presented additional
information pertinent to the mobile home park industry and the
difficulty in the preceding two or three years in filling and
occupying pads within mobile home parks;NOW,THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.MMC 14.07.060(f)as adopted in Ordinance No.
2109 and as amended in Ordinance No.2117 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
(f)Calculation of Water Bill for Mobile Home
Parks.The total water bill for mobile home parks
shall be calculated by applying the rate schedule to
the total number of pads or mobile home sites on the
premises which are in a condition ready for
occupancy,regardless of whether the same are
occupied during the billing period or not;provided,
that for the first twenty~four (24)months after a
mobile home park,or a new addition thereto,is

opened and connected to City utilities,its water
bill shall be calculated by applying the rates only
to such pads or mobile home sites as are actually
occupied by mobile homes during each billing period.
Provided,however,for mobile home parks whose
utility meter with the City was first activated less
than three (3)years preceding the effective date of
this ordinance and for which billing on all pads or
mobile home sites has occurred for less than two (2)
years preceding the effective date of this
ordinance,such mobile home parks shall be granted
an additional twelve (12)months from the effective
date of this ordinance to pay only for such pads or
mobile home sites which are actually occupied during
each billing period.Provided,further,that all
fees,charges and rates paid by such mobile home
parks to the City under prior provisions of MMC
14.07.060(f)and MMC 14.07.070(d)as such sections
originally read or as subsequently amended,shall be
nonrefundable notwithstanding the provisions of this
ordinance.

Section 3.Except as amended herein,Ordinances No.2109

originally adopted.
