ORDINANCE NO. 231 3
AN ORDINANCE OFTHE CITY OF MARYSVILLE VACATING A PORTION OF
41ST AVENUE NE, SOUTH OF 134TH STREET NE AND EAST OF STATE
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 1961 adopted on January 10, 2000
the Marysville City Council stated its intention to vacate a
portion of 41st Avenue NE, south of 134th Street NE and east
of State Avenue, and being legally described on EXHIBIT A
attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the vacation of

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That portion of 41st Avenue NE, south of
134th Street NE and east of State Avenue, as legally
described in EXHIBIT A is hereby vacated.

Section 2. In consideration for the vacation of said
street, the abutting owners who are receiving title to the
street shall pay the City the sum of $1,625.88 for the
property conveyed to them. Payment of said sum shall be a
condition precedent of this ordinance becoming effective.
Section 3. This ordinance and the vacation of the
street referred to herein shall become effective five (5)
days after the payment of the above-referenced sum and the
publication of this ordinance and the recording of a
certified copy of the same in the records of the Snohomish
County Auditor.

EXHIBIT A
A 100 foot strip of land consisting of the westernmost 15 feet
of 41"Avenue N.E. which is adjacent to Lot 13, Northwest
Industrial Park as per plat recorded in volume 43, pages
177-179, records of Snohomish County.
