AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE AMENDING
ORDINANCE 2555 CODIFIED AS CHAPTER 15.12 OF THE
MARYSVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT
FEES.
WHEREAS, the City periodically reviews and amends its development fees to ensure
recovery of the majority of its costs related to construction and development services;
WHEREAS, the City in reviewing the proposed fee structure, analyzed time and
expenses relating to development review and services, and recommends that the full costs of
service, including labor, non-labor, and departmental overhead be recovered from
development applications;
WHEREAS, following a comprehensive review of the development fees by City staff,
recommendations for fee revisions are hereby found to be just and reasonably related to the
actual cost of services provided;
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section ]. Chapter 15.12 of the Marysville Municipal Code is hereby amended and shall
read as follows:
15.12.010 General fee structure.
The Community Development department is authorized to charge and collect the
following fees:

Section 2;Effective Date. This ordinance and the fees set forth herein shall be effective
March I, 2005.
Section 3· Severability.If any section,subsection,sentence, clause, phrase or word of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity or unconstitutionality thereof shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of
any other section,subsection,sentence, clause, phrase or word of this ordinance.
