BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of

such is entitled to share in the allocation of funds from the
~:otor Vehicle FUnd of such state for the construction and
maintenance of any and all primary highways and such local
streets as may be designated as such or other proper roads or
streets located therein under the authority of Section 6,
Chapter 3,Session Laws of ','hshington,1935,and,

mate under thi s act the sum of it or about

WHEREAS under the authority of said 1934 act the Director
of Hi ,hways shall designate primary highways of said Tovm
which are to be maintained as hearly as possible equal to the
standard of original construction,out of funds accrueing
to the credit of said Town under its provisions beginning
April 1st,1935,and all funds not required for such primary
highway purposes may be,with the permission of the Director
of Highways be ex,ended upon such other streets within said
Town,and,
~I~REAS the 70wn Council believes it for the best interests
of llarysville that the act be in all things complied with and
after the expenditure of the monies necessary for the upkeep
of the primary highways therein,proper plans,maps'and other
data be prepared and such specifications submitted of other
roads and streets in this city for the approval of the DirectDr
of Highways so that all of the funds may be properly utilized.

NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:That the said To~m of
llarysville upon receiving information from the Director of
HiJhways designating the primary highways ~ithin the limits of
Marysville,direct its officers and engineering force to prepare
the necessary data,~lans,maps and specifications shoTIing the
streets to be maintained therein and forward the same to the
Director of Highways for his approval in order that the allot-
ment be received out of the State lIttor Vehicle Fund,not
necessary for the maintenance and upkeep of the primary highway
within its limit may be expended upon other streets of the
said Town under the authority of the La~s of 1935,Chapter 3
and that the Council be authorized and instructed to do all
tpinGs in connection with the carrying out of this resobution
that may be necessary in safeguarding the interest of said
Town of llarysville.
