WHEREAS,Cleve E.Phillips is the owner of certain real estate located at 1056 Cedar,Marysville,Washington and legally described as follows: Lot 6,Block 3,Edward Steele's Addition to Marysville,except the south 60 feet thereof,Snohomish County,Washington.r ""WHEREAS,said property is 60 feet wide and 322 feet deep,and is presently occupied by a duplex;-,'.-... .~,- WHEREAS;:Mr.Phillips proposes to construct a four-plex at the rear ofsa~d property and to provide access to said structure wi th a 19 foot,wi de easement On the s out'h ,5 ide of'the property for ingress,and,8,19 foot.w ide-eas'.ernEmt on t'hc Jrlor.th side of the property for 'egress;and"'"I':.....'.1 WHEREAS,Ordinance',N.o.r;:1018;passed by the Marysville City Council on January 22,j1979,!)tequires 1a 50 foot wide access easement for property occupied'bY"more thari four dwelling units; Now,Therefore, r~~~,~.r:i~r .~'f BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITYC01JNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE;WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS: From the testimony taken at the public hearings held before the Marysville City Council on February 13,1979 and February 26,1979,the City Council hereby finds that the variance criteria specified in Section 12.02.110 of the Marysville Municipal Code exists for the subject property by reason of its unusually narrow width and by reason of the location of the existing structure thereon. Therefore,a variance is hereby granted,to Cleve E.Phillips,permitting him to construct the proposed four-plex on the subject property by using two 19 foot wide access eas~ments for the same.
