Home My WebLink AboutR-0973 - Stating its intention to amend its water utility service area"I., l,t •F M S V I L L ECY,.0 A R Y ,!Marysvi lle,Washington -,,,,."\, I (.,,'973,,, {I •'\I RESOLUTION NO.,,'r, A resolution of the City of Marysville stating its intention to amend~its'water utility service area . •I l i i ,",'I•'.!J - WHEREAS,by Resolution No. 859 passed by the City Council of the City of Marysville on April 25,1,977 a water utility service area,approved by the'Snohomish.CountyBoundary Review Board,was adopted for the purpose of allowing the City to extend its water utility into certain designated areas and to connect customers thereto without involvement and approval by the Boundary Review Board on a case-by-case basis;and WHEREAS,reconsideration of the City's long-range land use plans and utility plans has necessitated an amendement to the boundaries of said water utility service area by reducing the same so as to be consistent with the sewer utility service area; NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Marysville hereby declares its intention to amend the water utility service area adopted on April 25,1977 by Resolution No.859,by reducing the same to the boundaries described in Exhibit A attached hereto.The City Administrator is hereby authorized to seek immediate approval of such reduced boundaries from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board. -I PASSED by the City j2JfP day of se"fern her, Couci1 and APPROVED by the Mayor this ,1980.
