A Resolution of 'the City of Marysville calling for
a public hearing on.the vacation of an alley.

WHEREAS,on Octob:r 31,1980 Burger King Corporation
submitted afpetition ~6the City of Marysville requesting the
vacation ofla~20~foot alley which runs in an east-west direction
between Delta,St r e e t and the.Burlington-N0r.ther~Railway right-of-
way adj acen t .t o Cedar Street,Block 7;rand-•,-

WHEREAS,on November 10,1980 the City Council received
said petition,together w~th.ther~commendations of the City staff
with respect thereto,and determined that it should be set for public
hearing pursuant to Chapter"12:32 ~£'the Marysville Municipal Code;
Now,Therefore

IT IS HEREBY:RESOLVED BY 'THE CI~Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.A public hearing for the vacation of the
above-described alley is hereby set for De,ce.m bel'8 ,1980
at 8:00 p.m.in the chambers of the Marysvllie Clty Counell,4822
72nd Street N.E.,Marysville,Washington.Twenty days written
notice of said public hearing shall be given by posting the same in
three public places in the City,and by posting the same in a
conspicuous place on the subject alley.
Section 2.If it is ultimately determined by the City
Council that the subject alley shall be vacated,the petitioner
shall thereupon be required to pay the City of Marysville an amount
equalling one-half of the appraised value of the alley.For the
purpose of determining said appraised value,the petitioner,at its
cost~shall cause a professional appraisal of the alley to be
conducted,and shall submit the report of said appraisal to the City
Clerk on or before the hearing date.
