A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING
ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX THE CARTER PROPERTY
INTO THE CITY AND TRANSMITTING THE l1ATTER TO
THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR
APPROVAL

WHEREAS,on the 4th 'day of January,1984,the City of
Marysville received a petition for annexation of the property des-
cribed in Exhibit A attached hereto,said petition having been
signed by the owners of not less than 75%of the assessed value of
said properties;and '.
WHEREAS,a duly advertised pUblic hearing was held on
said petition before the r1arysville City Council on February 14,
1984,and said City Council was fully advised in the premises;
NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYS-
VILLE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The above-described property is hereby approved
for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be so annexed
by ordinance of the City immediately upon receipt of a favorable
report from the Snohomish county Boundary Review Board.
Section 2.Upon the annexation of the above-described
property,it.shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on
the same basis as other property within the City of Marysville,
including assessments for taxes and payment of all the outstanding
indebtedness of the City contracted or incurred prior to or exist-
ing at the date of annexation.
Section 3.Upon annexation of the above-described prop-
erty,the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Marysville heretofore
prepared for the above-described property shall become the official
adopted Comprehensive Plan for said property.

Section 4.The City Attorney of the·City of Marysville
is hereby authorized to transmit all files in this annexation pro-
ceeding to the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board for consid-
eration;provided,that the property owner shall be responsible for
any and all costs incurred in this proceeding.
