" Y 0 F MAR Y S V ILL E Marysville,Washington RESOLUTION NO.1/3 9' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX GLENWOOD MOBILE ESTATES INTO THE CITY AND TRANSMITTING THE MATTER TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL. WHEREAS,a petition has been filed with the City of Marysville for annexation of property described in Exhibit A,said petition having been signed by the owners of not less than 75%of the assessed value of said property;and WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said petition before the Marysville City Council on January 23,1984,and thereafter continued for several additional hearings,and the City Council being fully advised in the premises;Now,Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.The City of Marysville hereby states its intention to annex the above-described property into the City limits on the terms and conditions provided below. Section 2.Upon execution by the owner of Glenwood Mobile Estates of a petition to form a local improvement district for the construction of 64th Street N.E.,the City shall immediately forward this annexation proposal to the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board for processing pursuant to Chapter 36.93 RCW. Section 3.Upon receipt of a favorable report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board,the City will proceed with the annexation ordinance for the above-described property only after the following preliminary conditions have been satisfied in full: A. A local improvanent district for that portion of 64th Street N.E.,abutting the annexation area has been formed, and Glenwood Mobile Estates is a'voluntary participant in said L.I.D. B.Glenwood Mobile Estates dedicates,at no cost to the City,sufficient land along its abutting frontage to provide an 80-foot wide right-of-way for '64th Street N.E. and a 60-foot wide right-of-way for 67th 'Avenue N.E. C.Glenwood Mobile Estates signs a covenant agreeing to retain ownership and maintenance responsibility for the plastic water lines in Phase I of the Park,and to indemnify and hold the City harmless from any liability arising from the use and maintenance thereof. Section 4.Upon an annexation of the above-described property,it shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the City of Marysville,including -1- ",...,.;.,.',..~~..,.,.-;,- assessments or taxes and payment of all the outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted or incurred prior to or existing at the date of annexation. Section 5.Upon the annexation of the above-described property,the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Marysville heretofore prepared for the same shall become the official adopted Comprehensive Plan for said property.The conditional use permit issued by Snohomish County for Glenwood Mobile Estates shall be continued in effect by the City. -a.day ADOPTED by the of rLl.l.L/ / City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this ,1984.
