RESOLUTION NO.I Z'Z.'"L
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Marysville,Washington,declaring its intention to
order the construction and improvement of a portion
of 64th Avenue N.E.and to create a local improvement
district to assess the cost and expense of carrying
out such improvements against the properties
specially benefited thereby,and notifying all
persons who desire to object to the improvements to
appear and present their objections at a hearing
before the City Council to be held on September 2Z,
1986.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,as follows:
Section 1.It is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Marysville,Washington,to order the improvement of the
properties within the area described in Exhibit A,attached
hereto and by this reference made a part hereof,by the
construction and improvement of 64th Avenue N.E.as more
particularly described in Exhibit B attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein.
All of the foregoing improvements shall be in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the
Hammond,Collier &Wade-Livingstone Associates,Inc.,consulting
engineers of the City,and may be modified by the City as long
as such modification does not affect the purpose of the
improvement.

Section 2.The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvements is declared to be $275,000,and the entire cost and
expense of such improvements shall be borne by and assessed
against the property specially benefited by such improvements to
be included in a local improvement district to be established
embracing as nearly as practicable all the property specially
benefited by the improvements.
Section 3.All persons who may desire to object to the
improvements described herein are notified to appear and present
such objections at a hearing before the City Council to be held
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in Marysville,
Washington,at 7:30 p.m.on September~.1986,which time and
place are fixed for hearing all matters relating to the proposed
improvements and all objections thereto and for determining the
method of payment for those improvements.All persons who may
desire to object thereto should appear and present their
objections at such hearing.Any person who may desire to file a
written protest with the City Council may do so within thirty
days after the date of passage of the ordinance ordering the
improvement in the event the local improvement district is
formed.Such written protest should be signed by the property
owner and should include the legal description of the property
for which the protest is filed and such protest should be
delivered to the City Clerk.
Section 4.Hammond,Collier &Wade-Livingstone Associates,
Inc.,is directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to

September 2~,1986,all data and information required by law to
be submitted.
The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Marysville,Washington,at a regular open public
meeting thereof this 11th day of August,1986.

Legal Description of Properties Within
Proposed LID -64th Avenue NE
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 18 of Hennings Kellogg
Marsh Gardens,as recorded in Snohomish County,Washington;
thence northerly along the east line of Lots 13 through 18 to the
northeast corner of Lot 13 of said plat;thence westerly along
the north line of said Lot 13 to the southeast corner of Lot 2 of
said plat;thence northerly along the east line of said Lot 2 to
the southerly margin of 76th Street NE;thence westerly along
said southerly margin to a point 80 feet east of the west line of
the W1/2 of the NW1/4 of the NE1/4,of the NE1/4 of Section 27,
Township 30 N,Range 5 E.,W.M.;thence south and parallel to
said west line for 435.6 feet;thence easterly 80 feet;thence

EXHIBIT "B"
Reconstruction and improvement of 64th Avenue N.E.,commencing
at the intersection of said avenue with 70th Street N.E.
and continuing in a northerly direction approximately 1,925
feet to the intersection of said avenue with 76th Street
N.E.This street improvement shall consist of the following:
Acquisition of any additional property necessary to
obtain an 60-foot right-of-way;
Construction of curbs,gutters and sidewalks on both
sides;
Construction of street improvements 44 feet wide from
curb to curb;
Construction of a storm sewer system as required;
Installation of necessary illumination facilities;
Relocation of power/telephone poles as necessary.
