A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FOR THE PURPOSE
OF CONSTRUCTING A PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY THEREON
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
The City hereby finds that it would be in the pUblic interest
to acquire 2.49 acres of vacant real estate located in the northwest
quadrant of the intersection of Grove Street and Alder Avenue,said
real estate being legally described in the Earnest Money Agreement
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.The City
hereby declares its intention to construct a public safety facility
on said real estate.
The City further finds that the price of $544,455.00 is the fair
market value of the real estate in question.
The Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the attached Earnest Money
Agreement and to commit the City to the purchase of the property des-
cribed therein.
