A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION
TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO THE CITY AND TRANSMITTING THE
MATTER TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR
APPROVAL
WHEREAS,on February 2,1987 the City of Marysville received
petitions for annexation of the property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto,said petitions having been signed by the owners
of not less than 75%of the assessed value of said property;and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said peti-
tions before the Marysville City Council on the 23rd day of February,
1987,and said City Council was fully advised in the premises;NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The above-described property is hereby approved for
annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be so annexed by
ordinance.of the City immediately upon receipt of a favorable report
from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board.
Section 2.Upon the annexation of the above-described property,
it shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis
as other property within the City of Marysville,including assessments
or taxes and payment of all of the outstanding indebtedness of the City
contracted or incurred prior to,or existing at the date of,annexation.
Section 3.Upon annexation of the above-described property,the
RUSA Comprehensive Plan for the City of Marysville which has been
heretofore prepared for the above-described property,shall become the
offi~ially adopted Comprehensive Plan for said property.
Section 4.The City attorney is hereby authorized to transmit
all files in the annexation proceeding to the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board for consideration;provided that the property owners shall
be jointly responsible for any and all costs incurred in this proceeding.
