A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ESTABLISH-
ING THE MARYSVILLE CITY CENTENNIAL COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS,the State of Washington will celebrate its
one-hundredth birthday on November 11,1989;and
WHEREAS,the State Legislature has formed the Washington
State Centennial Commission to assist local communities in coordi-
nating special events;and
WHEREAS,the Washington Centennial commission is encour-
aging all cities to be represented in statewide planning and es-
tablish local activities;and
WHEREAS,the City of Marysville has rich heritage,and
had a significant role in this state's history;and
the city of Marysville will be an increasingly
in Washington States future of resources,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Marysville City
Council approves and establishes the Marysville ~ity Centennial
Committee.
