RESOLUTION NO.1:22f
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Marysville,Washington,declaring its intention to
order the improvement of a portion of 64th Street
Northeast and to create a local improvement district
to assess a part of the cost and expense of carrying
out such improvements against the properties spe-
cially benefited thereby,and notifying all persons
who desire to object to the improvements to appear
and present their objections at a hearing before the
city Council to be held on April 11,1988.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,as follows:
Section 1.It is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Marysville,Washington,to order the improvement of a

portion of 64th StreetA within the city limitsA by the recon-'"A ....."I,')

struction of the roadway to a ~-foot ~width and the
installation of concrete curbs and gutters and a 5-foot sidewalk

adjacent to all propertiesA installation of a storm drainage
system,right-of-way acquisition and illumination.
All of the foregoing improvements shall be in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the
Hammond,Collier &Wade-Livingstone Associates,Inc.,of the
City and may be modified by the City as long as such modifica-
tion does not affect the purpose of the improvement.
Section 2.The total estimated cost and expense of the
improvements is declared to be #781,000,and approximately
$100,000 of that cost and expense shall be paid by the city and
the balance thereof shall be borne by and assessed against the
property specially benefited by the improvements within the area
described in Exhibit A,attached hereto and by this reference
made a part hereof,to be included in a local improvement
district to be established embracing as nearly as practicable
all the property specially benefited by the improvements.

Section 3.All persons who may desire to object to the
improvements described herein are notified to appear and present
such objections at a hearing before the city Council to be held
in the Council Chambers in the Marysville City Library in
Marysville,Washington,at 7:30 p.m.on April 11,1988,which
time and place are fixed for hearing all matters relating to the
proposed improvements and all objections thereto and for deter-
mining the method of payment for those improvements.All per-
sons who may desire to object thereto should appear and present
their objections at the hearing.Any person who may desire to
file a written protest with the city Council may do so within
thirty days after the date of passage of the ordinance ordering
the improvement in the event the local improvement district is
formed.Any written protest should be signed by the property
owner and should include the legal description of the property
for which the protest is filed and the protest should be deliv-
ered to the City Clerk.
section 4.Hammond,Collier &Wade-Livingstone Associates,
Inc.,is directed to submit to the City council on or prior to
April 11,1988,all data and information required by law to be
submitted.
The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Marysville,Washington,at a regular open public
meeting thereof this 14th day of March,1988.
