HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-1316 - Stating its intention to annex the Ripper property into the city and transmitting the matter to the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board for approvaCIT Y 0 F MAR Y S V ILL E Marysville,Washington RESOLUTION NO.1'3/(p A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX THE RIPPER PROPERTY INTO THE CITY AND TRANSMITTING THE MATTER TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL. WHEREAS,on April 25,1988 the City of Marysville received a petition for annexation of the following-described property,said petition having been signed by the owners of 100%of the assessed value of said property: The West 300 feet of the East 1,050 feet of the North 26-2/3 rods of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 27,Township 30 North,Range 5 East W.M.;including the full abutting public right-of-way of 64th Street N.E.;Snohomish County,Washington. WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said petition before the Marysville City Council on May 23,1988,and said City Council was fully advised in the premises;NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYS- VILLE,WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.The above-described property is hereby approved for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be so annexed by Ordinance of the City immediately upon receipt of a favorable report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board. Section 2.Upon annexation of the above-described property, it shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the City of Marysville,including assessments for taxes and payment of all the outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted or incurred prior to or existing at the date of annexation. Section 3.Upon annexation of the above-described property, the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Marysville heretofore prepared for the above-described property,designating it in the Low Density Multiple Residential classification,shall become the official adopted Comprehensive Plan for said property. Section 4.As a condition of annexation the owner will be required to dedicate to the City,for no charge,sufficient property along the abutting frontage of 64th Street N.E.to increase the public right-of-way of said street to City speci- fications. Resolution - 1 Section 5.The owner will be required to pay its propor- tionate share of improving 64th Street N.E.to its full design width for the abutting frontage of the subject property.Said payment will be due at the time of issuance of development permits for the subject property. Section 6.The City attorney is hereby authorized to transmit all files on this annexation proceeding to the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board for consideration;provided,that the property owner shall be responsible for any and all costs incurred in this proceeding.
