RESOLUTION NO.13'1'1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS
INTENTION TO ANNEX THE GRIFFORE PROPERTY INTO THE CITY
AND TRANSMITTING THE MATTER TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY
BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL.
WHEREAS,on November 6,1989 the City of Marysville received
a petition for the annexation of certain property known as the
"Griffore property"located east of Sunnyside Boulevard and south
of 56th Street N.E.,said property being legally described in
Exhibit A attached hereto;and
WHEREAS,a duly-advertised pUblic hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville City Council on November 27,
1989,and said city Council was fully advised in the premises;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The above-described property is hereby approved
for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be so
annexed by ordinance of the City immediately upon receipt of a
favorable report from the snohomish County Boundary Review Board.
Section 2.Upon annexation of the above-described property
it shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same
basis as other property within the City of Marysville,including
assessments or taxes for the payment of its pro rata share of all
outstanding indebtedness of the city contracted or incurred prior
to,or existing on,the effective date of the annexation.
section 3.Upon annexation of the above-described property
the City will simultaneously adopt the following Comprehensive
Plan designations for the same:
Single-Family Residential 12,500 for the southeast
portion of the annexation territory which is located
south of 52nd Street N.E.and east of 67th Avenue N.E.
Single-Family Residential 9600 for the balance of the
annexation territory,
section 4.The preliminary plats of Eastwood Hills and
Sunnyside East have been approved by Snohomish County and are
within the proposed annexation territory.Upon annexation the
City agrees to honor said plats sUbject to the same conditions
imposed by the Snohomish County Hearing Examiner and subject to
the following additional conditions:

a.The plats shall be required to comply with TIP 89-
2.
b.At the time of recording the final plats they
shall each be required to fulfill their voluntary
promise to pay the city a park fee of $200 per
lot.
c.At the time of recording the final plats they
shall each be required to fulfill their voluntary
promise to pay the Allen Creek Diking District a
mitigation fee of $125 per lot.
d.Recording of the final plats shall be processed
through the city of Marysville,including payment
of final plat fees,inspection fees and the
submittal of performance bonds and guarantee
bonds.
Section 5.The city Attorney is hereby authorized to
transmit all files on this annexation proceeding to the Snohomish
County Boundary Review Board for consideration;provided,that
the property owner shall be responsible for any and all costs
incurred in this proceeding.
