A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE ESTABLISHING
STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF ALDER AVENUE AND
FIRST STREET.
WHEREAS,pursuant to MMC 11.16.010, the Marysville City Council may,
by resolution,provide for signs regulating vehicle and pedestrian use of public
rights-of-way;
WHEREAS,the City's Traffic Safety Committee investigated the
intersection and recommended installation of a stop sign at the northeast corner
of Alder Avenue and 1st Street and the Southwest corner of Alder Avenue and
1st Street; NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
1. A stop sign shall be erected at the northwest corner of Alder Avenue and
1st Street regulating southbound traffic.
2. A stop sign shall be erected at the southeast corner of Alder Avenue and
1st Street regulating northbound traffic.
3. All regulatory signs and street markings that are inconsistent with this resolu-
tion are hereby repealed.
