RESOLUTION No.l&3>
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO
ANNEX CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA, KNOWN AS THE WICKHAM
PROPERTY, INTO THE CITY, AND TRANSMITTING THE MATTER TO THE
SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL.
WHEREAS,the City of Marysville has received a petition for
annexation of certain property located north of 84th Street N.E.
and west of 46th Drive N.E.,Marysville,Washington,said
property being contiguous to the city limits and legally
described in Exhibit A attached hereto;and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville City Council on November 4,1996,
and the City Council heard testimony from staff and was fully
advised in the premises;NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The property described in Exhibit A is hereby
approved for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be
so annexed by ordinance of the City of Marysville upon receipt of
a favorable decision/report from the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board.
Section 2.Upon annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A,it shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on
the same basis as other property within the City of Marysville,
including assessments or taxes for the payment of its pro rata
share and all outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted or
incurred prior to or existing on the effective date of the
annexation.
Section 3.Upon annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A,the Marysville Interim Comprehensive Plan designation
of general commercial and high-density single-family (5-7du/ac)
shall apply to said property.
Section 4.The City Planner is hereby authorized to
transmit a County Assessor's map,or other appropriate map,and
all files on this annexation proceeding to the Snohomish County
Boundary Review Board for consideration and review.

Beginningat the northeast comer of the west 1/2 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest
1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of Section 21, Township 30 North, Range 5 East, Willamette
Meridian,thence south along the east boundary of the current City of Marysville city limits
as described in Ordinance No. 866 a distance of 660 feet to the north line of the south 1/2
of the southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4 of said Section 21, and the True Point of
. Beginning;
Thence east along the north line of the south 112 of the southwest 1/4 of the northeast 1/4
of said Section 21 for 640 feet to the northwest comer of the Plat of Maple Place as
recorded in Volume 54, Pages 128 and 129 of Plats,Records of Snohomish County,

Thence east along the south line of that annexation to the City of Marysville as described
in OrdinanceNo. 866 a distance of210 feet;
Thence north along the boundary of saidOrdinance No. 866 a distance of 50 feet;
Thence east alongthe south boundary of said Ordinance No. 866 a distance of 296 feet to
the northwest comer of that annexationto the City of Marysville as described in City of
