A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE
REGARDING REMOVAL AND ESTABLISHMENT
OF STOP SIGNS AT VARIOUS INTERSECTIONS.
WHEREAS,Marysville Municipal Code 11.16.010 authorizes the City Council to
establish regulatory signs and zones for parking and use of the public right-of-way;and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the citizens
and businesses of the City to remove and establish stop signs at various intersections;
and
WHEREAS,the traffic studies were conducted by Hammond,Collier, &Wade-
Livingstone Associates and Gibson Traffic Consultants;NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
1. The removal of existing stop signs on Grove Street at the 71st Avenue NE
intersection.
2,Establishment of a stop sign at 73rd Place NE as it approaches 78th Dr. NE.
3.Establishment of a stop sign at 75th Street NE as it approaches 75th Place
NE.
4. All regulatory signs and street markings that are inconsistent with this
resolution are hereby repealed.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 13th day of
January,1997.
