A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE
AMENDING THE MARYSVILLE PERSONNEL CODE
CHAPTER VII, SHARED LEAVE.
WHEREAS, the City established a Shared Leave pilot program in 1990 by
Resolution No. 1411 and following one year formalized the program by the
adoption of Resolution No. 1469, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate and in the public interest
to permit all full status,non-temporary employees to participate in the shared
leave program; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Chapter VII, Section 34 (b) of the Personnel Code of the City of Maysville
which reads as follows:
b. A Department Director, with the Mayor's approval, may permit any full-
time,non-temporary employee to receive shared leave if:
is hereby amended to read as follows:
b. A Department Director, with the Mayor's approval, may permit any full
status non-temporary employee to receive shared leave if:
For the purposes of the Shared Leave program "full status" shall mean all
employees who are full-time or part-time and who are entitled to accrue sick
leave and vacation leave.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 22nd day
of June, 1998.
