CITY OF MARYSVILLE Marysville,Washington RESOLUTION NO./9/) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA, WEST OF ARMAR ROAD AND SOUTH OF 152ND STREET N.E., OWNED BY THE CITY AND KNOWN AS "STRAWBERRY FIELDS PARK,"AND TRANSMITTING THE MATTER TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL. WHEREAS,on January 11,1999 the City of Marysville resolved to initiate annexation proceedings for the following property located West of Armar Road and South of 152nd Street N.E.,said property being owned by the City and used for municipal purposes, which is legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto;and WHEREAS,a duly advertised public meeting was held on said annexation before the Marysville City Council on January 11,1999 and the City Council was fully advised in the premises;NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.The property described in Exhibit A is owned by the City of Marysville and is used for municipal purposes.This annexation may proceed pursuant to RCW 35A.14.300. Section 2.The property described in Exhibit A is hereby approved for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be so annexed by ordinance of the City of Marysville upon receipt of a favorable decision/report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board. Section 3.The City Planner is hereby authorized to transmit a County Assessor's map,or other appropriate map,and all files on this annexation proceeding to the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board for consideration and review.
