RESOLUTION NO.I n.~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO
ANNEX CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA,KNOWN AS HENDRICKSON/GLEIN
PROPERTY,INTO THE CITY,AND TRANSMITIING THE MATTER TO THE
SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL.
WHEREAS,the City of Marysville has received a petition for
annexation of certain property located on the east and west side
of Sunnyside Boulevard,north of 40th Street N.E.and south of
44th Street N.E.,said property being contiguous to the city
limits and legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto;and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said
petition before the Marysville City Council on May 10,1999,and
the City Council heard testimony from staff,the applicant and
the public,and was fully advised in the premises;NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The property described in Exhibit A is hereby
approved for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be
so annexed by ordinance of the City of Marysville upon receipt of
a favorable decision/report from the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board.
Section 2.Upon annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A,it shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on
the same basis as other property within the City of Marysville,
including assessments or taxes for the payment of its pro rata
share and all outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted or
incurred prior to or existing on the effective date of the
annexation.
Section 3.Upon annexation of the property described in
Exhibit A,the Marysville Comprehensive Plan designation of
medium-density single-family (4-5 dulac)and recreation shall
apply to said property.It is the City's intention to pre-zone
the subject property at the time of annexation to be consistent
with the City's Comprehensive Plan designations.
Section 4.The City Planner is hereby authorized to
transmit a County Assessor's map,or other appropriate map,and
all files on this annexation proceeding to the Snohomish County
Boundary Review Board for consideration and review.

Beginning at a point 660 feet North of the Southeast corner of Government Lot I, Section 3 ,
Township 29 North,Range 5 East,W.M. ;thence South ,along the eASt:line of said
Government Lot 1 for 264 feet;thence West for 1320 feet more or less to the East line of the
County Road ( Sunnyside Blvd. ) ;thence South ,along the East line of said County Road for 230
feet more or less to a point 202 feet North of the Southeast comer of Government Lot 2 of said
Section 3 ;thence West,along a line 202 feet north of and parallel with the south line of said
