A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO
ANNEX CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA OWNED BY THE CITY FOR
MUNICIPAL PURPOSES LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF SHOULTES ROAD
AND 108TH STREET N.E.AND TRANSMIITING THE MAnER TO THE
SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL.
WHEREAS,on January 2,2001 the City of Marysville resolved
to initiate annexation proceedings for the following property
located at the intersection of Shoultes Road and lOath Street
N.E.,said property being owned by the City and used for
municipal purposes,which is legally described in Exhibit A
attached hereto;and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised public meeting was held on said
annexation before the Marysville City Council on January 2,2001,
and the City council was fully advised in the premises;NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.The property described in Exhibit A is owned by
the City of Marysville and is used and/or will be used for
municipal purposes,namely a fire station.This annexation may
proceed pursuant to RCW 35A.14.300.
Section 2.The property described in Exhibit A is hereby
approved for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be
so annexed by ordinance of the City of Marysville upon receipt of
a favorable decision/report from the Snohomish County Boundary
Review Board.
Section 3.The City Planner is hereby authorized to
transmit a County Assessor's map,or other appropriate map,and
all files on this annexation proceeding to the Snohomish County
Boundary Review Board for consideration and review.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 16,Township 30 North,Range 5 East,
W.M.,described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section 16;
Thence South 0°00'00"West along the East line of said
Section 16 a distance of 15.01 feet to the Southerly right-
of-way line of 108th Street N.E.,said right-of-way line
being 15 feet Southerly of and parallel with the North line
of said Section 16,said point being the True Point of
Beginning.
Thence continuing South 0°00'00"West 350.59 feet along said
East line;Thence North 90°00'00"West 151.53 feet;Thence
North 71°00'00"West 203.89 feet to the Easterly right-of-
way line of Shoultes Road,said right-of-way line being 30
feet Southeasterly of the centerline of Shoultes Road when
measured at right angles to said centerline;Thence North
39°54'22"East 374.10 feet along said Easterly right-of-way
to the Southerly right-of-way line of said 108th Street NE;
Thence South 88°28'58"East 104.35 feet along said Southerly
right-of-way to the East line of said Section 16 and the
True Point of Beginning.
Containing 80,682 square feet more or less.
Situate in the County of Snohomish,State of Washington.
