HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-2020 - Stating its intention to annex certain unincorporated area owned by the city for municipal purposes located at the intersection of Shoultes road and 1'.,., ~...U; CITY OF MARYSVILLE Marysville,Washington RESOLUTION NO.d020 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA OWNED BY THE CITY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF SHOULTES ROAD AND 108TH STREET N.E.AND TRANSMIITING THE MAnER TO THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL. WHEREAS,on January 2,2001 the City of Marysville resolved to initiate annexation proceedings for the following property located at the intersection of Shoultes Road and lOath Street N.E.,said property being owned by the City and used for municipal purposes,which is legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto;and WHEREAS,a duly advertised public meeting was held on said annexation before the Marysville City Council on January 2,2001, and the City council was fully advised in the premises;NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.The property described in Exhibit A is owned by the City of Marysville and is used and/or will be used for municipal purposes,namely a fire station.This annexation may proceed pursuant to RCW 35A.14.300. Section 2.The property described in Exhibit A is hereby approved for annexation into the City of Marysville and shall be so annexed by ordinance of the City of Marysville upon receipt of a favorable decision/report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board.
