A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYVILLE STATING ITS INTENTION
TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED AREA, KNOWN AS THE JORDAN
ANNEXATION, INTO THE CITY, AND TRANSMITIING THE MATTER TO
THE SNOHOMISH COUNT BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD FOR APPROVAL
WHEREAS,the City of Marysville has received a petition for annexation of certain
property located west of83rd Ave NE, east ofHwy 9, south of 84 th St NE, and north of the
current city limits boundary,said property being contiguous to the city limits and legally
described in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS,on May 24, 2005 the Marysville Planning Commission held a public hearing
to consider a prezone ror the Exhibit A property and recommended approval of said prezone to
Community Business (CB) for parcels 300524002009;300524003006; 300524003014;
300524003005;300524003012 and High Density, Single Family (6.5 d.u.per acre) for the
remaining parcels establishing the Community Business and R-6.5 zones for the annexation; and
WHEREAS,a duly advertised public hearing was held on said annexation petition and
prezone before the Marysville City Council on June 27, 2005, and the City Council heard
testimony from staff, the applicant and the public, and was fully advised in the premises;NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The property described in Exhibit A is hereby approved for annexation into
the City of Marysville and shall be so annexed by ordinance of the City of Marysville upon
receipt of a favorable decision/report from the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board.
Section 2.Upon annexation of the property described in Exhibit A, it shall be assessed
and taxed at the same rate and on the same basis as other property within the City of Marysville,
including assessments or taxes for the payment of its pro rata share and all outstanding
indebtedness of the City contracted or incurred prior to or existing on the effective date of the
annexation.
Section 3.Upon annexation of the 'property described in Exhibit A, the Zoning and
Comprehensive Plan designation of Community Business shall apply to TP#'s 300524002009;
300524003006;300524003014; 300524003005;300524003012,and the Single Family, High
Density (R-6.5) shall apply to the remainder of said property.
Section 4. The Community Development Director is hereby authorized to transmit a
County Assessor's map, or other appropriate map, and all files on this annexation proceeding to
the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board for consideration and review.

All that portion of the Northwest Quarter and the Southwest Quarter of Section
24;Township 30 North, Range 5 East, W.M. and that portion of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 25, Township 30 North, Range 5 East, W.M., and that portion
of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26, Township 30 North, Range 5 East, W.M.,
all in Snohomish County, Washington, more particularly described as follows:

the south line of said section to the easterly right of way margin of 83rd Avenue
