A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE APPOINTING THE CITY
CLERK AS THE AGENT TO RECEIVE CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES PURSUANT
TO RCW 4.96.020.
WHEREAS,RCW 4.96.020 to requires the governing body of each local government
entity to appoint an agent to receive any claim for damages made pursuant to Chapter 4.96 RCW;
and,
WHEREAS,the City Council previously adopted Resolution 2044 recorded 11/21/2001,
Snohomish County Recording No.200111210250;and,
WHEREAS,the City Hall has subsequently moved and has a new address;and
WHEREAS,the Council wishes to update the City Hall address and continue to designate
the City Clerk as an agent for the City to receive claims for damages;NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Marysville City Clerk shall be the designated agent for the City to receive
all claims for damages pursuant to Chapter 4.96 RCW. Such claims may be served upon the City
Clerk during normal business hours at Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Avenue,Marysville,
Washington 98270.
Section 2.This Resolution shall be recorded with the Snohomish County Auditor as
required by RCW 4.96.020(2).
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 2.~day of May, 2007.
