RESOLUTION NO. '1-1-63
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARYSVILLE
ANNOUNCING THE RETIREMENT OF K-9 POLICE DOG RADAR
AND THEREFORE DECLARING THE K-9 POLICE DOG RADAR TO BE
SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE K-9 POLICE DOG
RADAR.
WHEREAS, the City is the owner ofK-9 Police Dog Radar and the City has determined that
Radar is to be retired and is no longer needed for further public use or necessity; and,
WHEREAS, the dog has been bonded with one master and for purposes of safety and security
and for the well-being of the animal, it should remain with Officer Dreyer; and,
WHEREAS, it is also in the public interest to provide for the retirement and sale of Radar to
Officer Dreyer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MARYSVILLE, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The K-9 Police Dog Radar is hereby declared surplus to the foreseeable needs of
the City.
Section 2. It is deemed to be in the public interest for the City to sell the dog to Officer
Dreyer.
Section 3. The Mayor or the Mayor's designee is hereby authorized to sell the dog to Officer
Dreyer.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this J-1-A day of
